This frosty forest is full of rexes and icy goombas. There are even some wintery roto-discs flying around here and there. However, the real trouble to watch out for here is inside the ? blocks.
Kelly appears at the start to warn you that low temperatures can make mushrooms toxic, and sure enough, there are poison shrooms to be found all over the place. It's not too serious, though. Just don't be hasty to collect what pops out of the blocks.
Hammer Suit[]
This stage has a little of everything secrets-wise. The hammer suit is hidden in the third secret area, and the entrance pipe is just barely visible at the bottom of the screen. A line of coins points to it, but could be disregarded just as easily.
This is one of the easiest suits to get, so it's a reward for being observant both in finding the bonus stage, but also in the level itself.
Yoshi[]
You'll find your green dinosaur buddy in the first secret room. Although this pipe is clearly attached to the ground, the bonus section is in the sky. Yoshi's hiding in the center ? block with a nice bunch of coins on both sides.
1-Up[]
The stage's only 1-Up is in the second bonus room. The entrance is near the bottom of the screen and guarded by a roto-disc. The block in the middle is a decoy; a poison shroom pops out! But before you leave the room in a huff, jump above the exit pipe. The 1-Up is in an invisible block here.
RMN Coins[]
- On a ledge after the second frozen rex.
- Over the cliff near the first secret's exit.
- Below the checkpoint.
- Guarded by a roto-disc before the third secret.
- Above a high platform near the stage's end.
